It’s not enough that his gigantic, sizzling hot billboards along EDSA already have you captivated; the country’s hottest heartthrob also has the distinction of being the only male celebrity deemed worthy of being Metro Magazine’s cover model. In the December-January issue of Metro, heartthrob Piolo Pascual talks about his life, love, and just about everything in between. “Every good thing that has happened to me has been possible because of the Lord. I have been so blessed and I feel truly grateful for everything that has been given to me,” he says in the Metro cover story interview. The 31-year old, who is also starring in the Star Cinema 2009 opening film "Love Me Again", also shows his philanthropic side. “There is no doubt that I wish to give back to the Lord and to our country. I am not sure what will happen five to 10 years from now, but what I do know is that whatever I do, it will be for the glory of God,” he adds.

Piolo also tells Metro what his plans are after show business. “I want to be a missionary. I will spread the Word all around the Philippines and eventually to other countries.” This plan is also connected to whom he eventually wants to settle down with in life. “I wish to marry a woman who is in the mission field. I will be perfectly content with a simple life,” he says.
