While many thought it would never happen, ex screen love team and real-life couple Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion reunited on national television on a special two-part episode of the Megastar’s talk show ‘Sharon.’ But instead of tension, fun filled the set as KC watched her parents side by side on the couch catching up on each other while audiences, mostly die-hard Sharon-Gabby fans since the 80’s, had the blast seeing to two together again. KC Concepcion gets emotional during her parents’ much-awaited reunion in ‘Sharon’.

It was a rare chance for Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta to sit down and talk like old friends in front of a cheering audience...
“Sabi ko nga yung energy ng tao parang nasa Araneta (Coliseum) kami lahat. But personally, hindi ko siya tinitignan as a showbiz event. Kasi isa lang akong simpleng anak na nangarap at some point na magkasama or magkita yung kanyang dalawang magulang. So sabi ko nga kanina, isang pangarap lang sa akin na magkausap sila nang hindi nag-aaway sa phone. Kaya ngayon na tapos na ito at lahat, feeling ko kasal ko or something. Alam mo yung parang may celebration. I didn’t know that it’s going to be that way,” KC said.

Given what her parents’ went through in the past, it’s certainly not easy to get hold of their rollercoaster emotions which is why the three of them still can’t do a movie together at this point of time...
“Pagkatapos ng movie namin ni Papa, siguro yung kaming dalawa muna ni Mama (ang sunod kong gagawin). Kasi medyobig deal talaga yung kaming tatlo, baka hindi namin matapos yung pelikula,” she simply stated. -Source: Abs-Cbn

[Sources: Wiki] Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Cojuangco Aquino III (born February 8, 1960) is a Senator of the Philippines and the President-elect of the Philippines. Aquino is a fourth-generation politician: his great-grandfather, Servillano "Mianong" Aquino, served as a delegate to the Malolos Congress,[4] his grandfather, Benigno Aquino, Sr., held several legislative positions from 1919–44,[5] and his parents were former President Corazon Aquino and former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. He is a member of the Liberal Party.
Born in Manila, Aquino graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 1981 and joined his family in their exile in the United States shortly thereafter. He returned to the Philippines in 1983 shortly after the assassination of his father and held several positions working in the private sector. In 1998, he was elected to the House of Representatives as Representative of the 2nd district of Tarlac province. He was subsequently re-elected to the House in 2001 and 2004. In 2007, having been barred from running for re-election to the House due to the term limit, he was elected to the Senate in the 14th Congress of the Philippines.

Following the death of his mother on August 1, 2009, many people began calling on Aquino to run for president. On September 9, 2009, Aquino officially announced he would be a candidate in the 2010 presidential election, held on May 10, 2010.

On June 9, 2010, the Congress of the Philippines proclaimed Aquino the winner of the 2010 presidential election. Aquino will take office as the fifteenth President of the Philippines on June 30, 2010, succeeding Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
